Strategic Sourcing responsibilities include leading contract negotiations, drive cost savings initiatives and implement strategic sourcing best practices.  This role is expected to develop strategic business relationships with external suppliers and internal business leaders as well as other internal key stakeholders. Implement and operate best in class practices for sourcing our direct and indirect spend.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Supplier Price List for Direct & Indirect for all legal entities

  • Analyze/Maintain the email

  • Create requisitions for Management Review Prior to Business Award

  • Develops and manages RFQs and final negotiations with suppliers

  • Manages supplier communication, interactions, and management of cost

  • Tracks Industry Trend/Feedstock Trend Reports

  • Provides detail rationale as to why price changes to Sales & Acct Mgmt & Finance

  • LIC management – freight and material cost to warehouse or direct locations

  • Develop procedures for procurement system: MRP, Min/Max, Forecasting, customer demands

  • Communicate everything required to achieve procurement excellence on agreed to periodic basis

  • Communicate contract terms and price increases internally with sales, customer service, accounting, and sales support

  • Solicit and qualify new sources

Required: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field of study: finance, business
Preferred: MBA with 5+ years successful experience in a global sourcing or purchasing environment.

Outstanding analytical, negotiating and relationship skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills.   Project management experience—leading a cross-functional team to achieve a desired goal.
Self-motivated. Strategic Sourcing, Opportunity Analysis, and Contract Negotiations a must. Microsoft Office.
